Jesus is where heaven touches earth…
And where we can touch heaven.

As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.  Isaiah 55:10-11

A Mysterious Wind

Dust Devil: vertical vortex of wind, occurring on sunny days when warm air begins to rise.

This picture would be nothing without the dust exposing the whirlwind. The wind would still be swirling only invisible to our sight. Yet when it takes up the dust we see amazing things. It is the same with the Holy Spirit we do not see anything of Spirit’s presence until it picks us up. It can be scary, and we may not understand where the Spirit is taking us, but when we finally see the whole picture we are in awe.

“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)
