Glory Ahead

Everything seems ominous
in the deep hours of the night.
Unleashing our darkest fears.
anxiety boiling into fright.
It is then I call upon the Lord,
and His promises bring me light.
He will never leave me nor forsake me.
He is risen! And…
In Him all things will turn out right.

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

  1. Thank you! This blessing arrived just when I needed it today. My older son David died in the early hours this morning, of cancer. Robin
