A Dreary Day to Rejoice

The LORD made this day in which to be glad.
Though there are days when it’s tough to rejoice,
Heavy days when it’s hard to not be sad.
Days where groaning replaces my voice.
The LORD reminds me,
He made those days too.
that I must walk close,
to make it through.
So I can rejoice come what may.
Days of joy, or grief or sorrows.
The LORD has plans for each day.
To be with Him today
and all my tomorrows.
