When I awaken in the morning

I take a deep breath of God’s unfailing love

more glorious than sunrise.

A love that is:

steadfast,

unchanging,

filled with mercy,

courageous and victorious,

faithful,

righteous and perfect,

everlasting,

redeeming,

good in every way,

love that will never leave nor forsake.

A love that turns our hurting into sacrament

and our sorrows into thanksgiving.

O LORD, let the Son shine in!
